About the episode
This week on The Worst Movie Podcast, Ade and Aaron tackle Invasion U.S.A. (1985), the first film in Chuck Norris’s six-picture deal with Cannon Films, co-written by Norris, who got the idea from a Reader’s Digest article. Norris wears head-to-toe denim, two Uzis in leather shoulder harnesses, and one facial expression. The guys break down the bazooka with infinite ammo, the fully demolished suburban Christmas neighborhood, the mall shootout with the world’s coolest kid, and an ending that involves viscera literally flying out of a window.
Tune in as we ask questions like:
- Why is Florida the only place you find airboats?
- Why is Chuck Norris the only person trying to stop this invasion?
- Is the reporter actually filing any stories?
- What did Chuck Norris mean by “I’m gonna hit you with so many rights, you’re gonna beg for a left”?
- What’s the right way to row a boat?
